From a collection of drawings studying the sacred hold of tango, here is January, drawn with ink, pen and a collage of loved paper. Drawn on a page from a diary of 1924, found in a flea market in Paris, his shirt is from a vintage stock book found in rubble in Beirut, from a library called La Luna. Hers is from the last scans monitering the contractions before my daughter was born.
These hidden details were chosen to speak of the silent gratitude I have to the dance that led me to my love, and so to my children.
