GAIL GOSSCHALK
Born in London to a French mother and a South African father in 1981, Gail studied at the Wimbledon School of Art and specialised in conceptual research for Womenswear at Northumbria University. She has lived and worked in New York, Paris, Rome, Jerusalem, Beirut and now works from her studio in Madrid. Her travels and cultural heritage are a constant inspiration in her study of elegance throughout her drawings and designs.
Gail Gosschalk specialises in a traditional approach to hand-drawing, using meticulous technique to create delicate illustrations with a timeless female sophistication. Her classical drawings work hand-in-hand with digital media, ensuring the sensitivity and poetry of the visuals marry the minute to the monumental across illustration, branding and art direction projects.
